Vilar & Associados was founded in 1974, during the early days of Portugal’s democracy. Vilar developed legal practice in a world profoundly changing and has been modernizing and internationalizing strategies to better help domestic and international clients. With the adhesion of Portugal to the EU, Vilar expanded the areas of practice, grew the legal team, and became a reference for Portuguese and foreign investors.
